I get up several times a night, and never get uninterupted sleep. I wake up tired.

And my own snoring is keeping me awake. . . . . I am freaking out and the dr isnt around. I breathe through my nose when sleeping. Help I am freaking out.

I absolutely can not sleep on my back. I have a Chiari malformation so when i lay on my back for to long my face goes numb and i get a headache and nausea. I have been having some periods of sleep apnea and want to have a sleep study done but when my husband did his they would not let him get off of his back. He said it was terrible! Anyone have any experience with this?

Lately in the past few weeks or so , when I am laying in bed and dozing off. My body freezes up. It starts out with me not being able to breath it feels like there is a pillow over my face but muffling the mount of air that I can take in. This freaks me out so I try to change positions but no matter how hard I struggle I cannot move any part of my body. My eyes are opened when this happens. I try to call for my husband for help but my mouth will not move. I feel like I’m laying there dying and there is nothing I can do but wait alone and afraid. After a few minutes ( seems like forever) I am able to move again and breath. I tried to look this up under sleeping disorders but the only thing similar was sleep apnea however with this disorder you do not know that you are not breathing and there is no loss of body control. Please help I am afraid to go to sleep so I have been staying awake longer and longer. I cannot see a DR. I have no insurance. If you have been through this tell me what to do before I suffocate.

My husband snores badly in sleep: he snores in any positions in sleep, either close mouth or open mouth. We tried almost everything we know, nose expand bandage, anti-snore pillows, checked the specialist and the result is even surgery won’t help. We usually sleep in separate bedrooms because I am a light sleeper. This is becoming a more serious problem for us, not only for our sexual life, but also for our emotion connections. Anybody has any good ideas for this situation? Either to fix his problem, or make me sleep deeper? Thanks a lot!
