I have to have a sleep study done tomorrow night and was wondering what to expect. Has anyone had one?

My 8 year old son stops breathing on and off all through the night and he snores loudly. He gasps for air through out the night and wets to bed. He is also on medication for ADHD. I have heard there is a link between sleep apnea and ADHD symptoms. Does anyone else know anything about this?

Home remedies would obviously be the preference rather than a doctor making you pay so much for prescriptions. Just curious to know if anyone has stopped thier drooling while sleeping and possibly their snoring,. . . if at the least reduced it. Anyone?

. . . If so, would you recommend it?I currently use a gel face mask, which I do pretty good with, but it is causing irritation on my face as well as leaving marks. The CPAP PRO is kept in place with a mouth piece, and uses nose pillows. I just ordered it even though my insurance company won’t pay for it. I have read both good and bad reviews on it. Looking for more comments.

Just curious if they work or not. I have to spend the night and they test my sleeping patterns I guess. Just a little nervous. I dont snore, I just cant sleep.
